Gray Is Green
Gray Is Green
the national senior conservation corps
Gray Is Green is the go-to organization for people over age 65 who are interested in conserving our planet's natural resources.
The National Senior Conservation Corps (NSCC) was founded by a group of retired Yale University professors. Their goal was to help other older Americans “green up” their lives and aid them in making their communities more sustainable. They quickly discovered that so-called "seniors" around the country are interested in conserving resources and leaving a natural legacy for their grandchildren. Now, with help from the Rockefeller Brothers Fund and the Rockefeller Family Fund, our vision has expanded from greening retirement homes to engaging interested people over 65 in the fight against climate change.
